Dance Tecktonik- Look like a dork, have fun!

Tecktonik is apparently all the rage in France these days! I confess I missed the boat on this one, and I will have to simply try to do what I can to spread the disease, in my defense Oregon is a long way from France…physically speaking. It looks to me as if these kids are playing Dance Dance Revolution except…without the ACTUAL game itself. They seem to be taking the rave party from the secretive late fly by night illegal warehouse, right out into the bright day light of the streets of France. It’s fun to see kids so uninhibited and..well having fun with music, some of them can probably dance, but that definitely doesn’t seem to be a requirement. Maybe this is doing what punk rock did for us with music…freeing us from the reliance on technical prowess! There does seem to be some moshing without the mosh pit going on? I don’t speak a word of French, which is a shame, so maybe someone can fill me in on the details…
