DUDE! You never let them TOUCH!

Saturday, May 19th, 2007

This has to be one of the funniest comedy skits i have seen in quite a while. It comes to you directly from the obviously deliciously disturbed minds of the NYC comedy troupe Whitest Kids U’ Know. It takes the whole “Office” thing to a seedy dark place, introduces perhaps the best come back i’ve ever seen ever to an obnoxious idiot. A comedic twist of the wrist is added to the old wanker dismissal gesture…ah well I can’t even do it justice with a description just watch and laugh your ass off.

Matthew Grows a Mustache: Classic News Radio

Friday, May 18th, 2007

News Radio was definitely one of the classic shows of the 90’s. I mean c’mon just look at the damn cast, there is more comedic talent on that one show than all of network television combined these days, Phil Hartman, Joe Rogan, Andy Dick etc etc this show was flawlessly cast. Check out this hilarious Andy Dick moment, when he returns from vacation sporting a snazzy new nose neighbor. Sadly watching this just reminds me that Phil Hartman is still dead…damn that crazy wife.

Don’t kick the baby!

Thursday, May 17th, 2007

Watch as this toddler makes perfect contact with a size 11 sneaker, and then completes an almost perfect backflip, kinda botched the landing! Survival of the fittest I always say, this was a learning experience. Perhaps this should be a new tandem breakdance move? “Yo watch me transition this into the backside drop kick toddler!”

Afghan Gold: Soldiers strike it rich

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

Everyone knows the Afghanis grow some good shit right? They are certainly known for their poppy crops. Production of drugs in Afghanistan is one of their main sources of income, and problems. It fuels all the terrorism in the world if you believe the hype of the propagandists, however in a country as devastated as Afghanistan how can you really blame the farmers for growing it? One of our supposed goals in the invasion of Afghanistan was to destroy the poppy fields, it seems to have been a total failure according to this article, and now there is more crops, and more people addicted etc. Here is some video of US soldiers passing by some rather juicy looking marijuana crops. I for one won’t blame them is they grab a stick or two to help them relax…just make sure you are in a safe hole when you spark up.

David Choe Dry Hump Pillow: Umm yeah get down on it

Tuesday, May 15th, 2007

This is a pretty hilarious illustration by David Choe, and putting it on a pillow kind of takes it to another level of silliness. It’s printed on both sides so you won’t be able to flip it over and hide it when the stuffy relatives come over for their yearly holiday visit…then again why would you?

Bill Hicks: Drugs and Evolution

Monday, May 14th, 2007

I left in love, in laughter, and in truth and wherever truth, love and laughter abide, I am there in spirit.
~ William Melvin Hicks Feb 1994

It’s amazing to listen to Bill Hicks, he’s been dead 13 years or so and his comedy is still just as pure and politically relevant as it was at that time…can you really say that about any other comic from the early 90’s? It’s downright scary, like things took a turn for the positive, and then swung right back around leaving us in an eerily similar or worse political climate. It’s a damn shame we lost this true genius at the age of 32…or maybe not, perhaps he was finished, but he sure shined fucking bright in his brief time on this plane. Watch here as he dissects the arguments for illegal marijuana with the precision of a surgeon. If you are unfamiliar with Bill’s work, he released three or four albums while he was alive and I consider them all to be essential/mandatory listening. Antagonistic, cynical and brilliant, Hicks was a clear influence on Stanhope, Rogan, and the other important intelligent ORIGINAL comedians of our current crop.

Vampire? Is it a vampire…or werewolf?

Sunday, May 13th, 2007

Whatever it is it’s AWESOME…check out this super fun Japanese vampire clip from 1968 feature some really high end animation…well for the time it probably was pretty high end, and now it just looks cool. Monster expert Jason Willis explains This melding of two clearly different types of monster seems to be a common practice among other cultures…to create one super monster!

Beware of the car swallowing puddle!

Saturday, May 12th, 2007

Oops it appears the old folks in this home (click on link below to see full picture set) have succeeded in capturing another car for whatever devious plot they may have concocted. Once captured the victim will be forced to endure hours of endless tales of how things used to be, while encountering previously unknown odors while consuming copious amounts of green jello and prune juice. I can’t wait to be old and devious…damn I’m almost there. Check out the excellent series of photos, it’s almost like…the photographer was waiting for it to happen.

GOOD Magazine: Internet Porn

Friday, May 11th, 2007

In case you were wondering just how big Internet porn is from a dollars and cents or traffic perspective check out this distractingly sexy video that delivers the bottom line info in a…creative fashion. There are of course many negative aspects to the porn industry, mostly revolving around sleazy people taking advantage of desperate women (and men), and of course the negative effects of obsession. It seems maybe due to the Internet, and the ease of creating a website of your own, coupled with the perceived separation of the “end user”, some intelligent women have been able to produce, market, and profit from their…hard work. No matter where you fall on the porn argument, there is no denying it is a BIG part of the internet culture, and it is not going to go away anytime soon.

Music Lover: Your next album cover

Thursday, May 10th, 2007

I do graphic design for work so I surf istockphoto quite a bit…This was actually sent to me by a comrade though, and I am trying to keep a straight face (as opposed to my gay face?) while I type this. The masterful shot was also posted to the “Titillation MEN” gallery, and even there amongst all that greasy man abs it stands out as well…exceptional? What could the photographer possibly be thinking here? Feel free to enlighten me in the comments section. The picture does have 88 istock downloads…so someone used it professionally (or unprofessionally?).
