I remember the first time I heard the infamous 7 words you can’t say on radio and tv. I was in elementary school and my best buddy Lee had invited me over to listen to comedy albums. We often spent time listening to Richard Pryor, Steve Martin, Cheech & Chong, and other popular 70’s comedy. We had to share headphones when we put on the Carlin so as not to alert the adults as we imbibed the filthy language. Much more than a comedian…or perhaps just the perfect embodiment of what a comedian should be, sharp wit, cultural and political discourse, and not afraid to step over the line into danger. George…I miss you already.

The 7 Words…

Continuing along with the cheery heroin theme of the last post here is a pretty nice mash up of two great films from different ends of the spectrum. Requiem for a Dream and Toy story combine forces to bring all the joys of heroin use to the gleeful animated world of Pixar! “I know it’s pretty baby, but I didn’t take it out for air”.

I swear I need to make a section for this site “No this really isn’t a story from the Onion”. Sounds like a good name for a punk rock song…
